I have a workbook that calculates the value of a parcel of land. I am
attempting to automate this for our forestry department. The user will enter
the number of years before disposal in a specific cell. I need that cell to
reference a TVM table in another spreadsheet (in the same workbook) so a
calculation can take place. For example, if the user enters "10" in the cell,
I need Excel to scan through the table and locate 10, then use the amount in
the cell next to it for the calculation. I know it can be done but not sure
how to make it happen. All suggestions welcome.
