After my recent "switch" to Apple (an iBook) I initially had no
problems with Entourage and Comcast as my ISP. Now I get increasinly
frequent error messages on outgoing e-mail. For a while I've been
getting the error message "[PERMFAIL] destination not valid within DNS"
which is apparently a Comcast (which they refuse to admit). Now I'm
getting the error message "A read/write error has occurred (-3204)".
There're some e-mail addresses which seem to cause no problem, e.g., if
I send myself an e-mail to my work address. Other e-mail addresses
always have problems while others have intermittent problems.
Aside from switching ISPs (which I definitely don't want to do) what
other suggestions do you all have?
TIA!
