You need a mail server of some sort. Check out www.kerio.com for a workgroup
mail server that may work for you...it's one of several options, but I've
heard good things about it.
First, you'll need a mail server.... and the choice of server depends if you
just want mail or also shared contacts and calendar and what hardware you
are going to run it on... for mail only, you can find free or low priced
mail server software that'll run on any desktop.. take a look at
downloads.com or shareware.com.
