Can't open file:
invalid character found in text content.

How to solve? Any ideas.

esmani,

I am not sure what version of XL you have, but later versions are pretty
good at opening damaged files. If you want, send me your damaged file and I
will see what I am able to do.

If you have any vba code in the file, I would appreciate the advance
warning.
