Invisible emails

I have read all of the posts regarding invisible emails, although none
of the slutions have helped me. I am using Entourage X, and yesterday
I opened the program, and I received about 30 emails that were
invisible. I couldn't move them, copy them, reply to them, I had no
access. The biggest problem is that all of my email dating back to
12/17/04 had also turned invisible?? I decided to do a typical
database rebuild. It worked fine in terms of making entourage
functional, but I lost all of the invisible mail? I tried to revert
back to the old database, and it is all still invisible. I am very
frustrated because most of the email lost was for work, or important
otherwise. How do I get those messages back?? Can I view the old
database using some other program? I really need help???

Revert back to the original database and do an advanced rebuild. If that
doesn't recover the lost emails try to drag them out of the damaged database
to the desktop, then drag them into the rebuilt one. If that doesn't work
they are probably gone for good
