invisible hit counter - not working in Netscape

I have created an invisible hit counter by creating a 1 x
1 pixel transparent image and choosing custom image in
Frontpage 2003. Works great in Internet Explorer, but
when viewed in Netscape, looks like a missing picture. I
don't want anything there and it looks tacky in Netscape,
any ideas? My new site goes live this weekend and I want
it to look good.

I'm not sure I can help you with your problem, but I can
tell you that 1 x 1 px images are viewed as suspicious by
search engines. Your site could get penalized or red
flagged. Be carefull!
