Invisible text in messages

I have a strange problem with Entourage. Sometimes messages come
through that have no visible text unless I click 'Reply' or 'Forward'.
Then it all shows up.
Not all messages are like this, and they don't seem to have any
pattern.
Help!

Sounds like a database rebuild might be in order.

Did the rebuild, and it didn't change anything. Invisible text in some
messages remains invisible unless I click Reply or Forward....

If you're using Entourage 2001, then this might be happening because of a
memory allocation issue. Quit Entourage, and then select the program icon
in the Finder. Go to File -> Get Info -> Memory, and set the Preferred size
to around 20000K. See if that resolves the problem.

In the future, please be sure to state what version of Entourage you are
using.
