Is Entourage a Cruel Hoax?

The more I work with Entourage and the more I read the posts in this NG, the
more disappointed I become with it and the more I wonder whether Microsoft
intentionally crippled this application as a way to prevent further losses
of Windows/Office users.

I believe that there is a reasonable expectation that a product labeled
"Office:Mac 2008" should have the functionality of its Windows counterpart.
Some say that the E-mail/Organizer client is Entourage and not Outlook and
use that as an excuse for its shortcomings. I don't buy that for a minute.

- The ability to correctly forward HTML based e-mail is as basic a function
of an e-mail client as the ability to read and interpret HTML in incoming
messages. So why can we do both in Outlook and not in Entourage?

- Outlook synchronizes with on-line calendars such as Airset. Why not
Entourage?

- Outlook can easily synchronize with hand-held devices. Why not Entourage?

Yes, I have shared my frustration with Entourage by sending feedback to
Microsoft but I hope that this and similar postings will reach other users
with requirements similar to mine so that they can make better informed
decisions in their software purchases.

Perhaps in a better world, MS may listen to their users and introduce more
functional products.

Use "Forward as Attachment" under Message in the Menu bar.
