Hello Mark-
You need only paste the link in (or type it correctly), if you are referring
to URLs or email addresses. It is a little deceptive because the link does
not change to underlined blue in your Entourage message window, but the
recipient should have an active link.

Certainly. Just type in the full URL (including http://), ideally in angle
brackets, and send. If you choose to send in HTML format (Format > HTML),
the hyperlink will have the <a> tag that ensures it will be clickable on the
receiving end.
If you mean that you want some other text to function as a hyperlink, you
need Paul Berkowitz's "Make Hyperlinks" script.
