Is it possible to automatically make Word the email editor?

In Outlook, it is possible to have email composing automatically done
within Word. Is the same possible in Entourage, e.g., when you write a
new email, the environment is Word, co-mingled with Entrouage so the
address book, etc., work; but all the text editing, etc., of Word is
active

No. You'd have to launch Word and start your message there, and then send
it using File > Send to > Mail Recipient (as HTML), assuming you're using
Entourage 2004.
