Is it possible to extend the 255 character limit to enter text?

I have discoverd that there is a 255 character limit for text in individual
boxes. Is it possible to extend this? As i have a substantial amount of info
to include. HELP!!

I don't have a answer for your question , but a good idea is to add a
hyperlink to an external file (lets say a word document ) and add as
much as info as you want.

No. The only general text box that can contain more than 255 characters
is the Notes field. However even the Notes field will only display a
maximum of 255 characters, (or up to the first line feed), when the
Notes field is added as a column to a view. To view the full text in the
Notes field, you will need to go to Project/Task Information/Notes tab.

I suggest you put your info into the Notes field. But keep in mind that
Project is not a word processor, other than a few tasks that may need
additional info (via the Notes field), all text based information should
be short and brief.
