I saved over it, I was not connected to my network at the time, just
saved it
in my local c drive, upon exiting power point it was prompt to save
unsaved
data and didn't realize I was writing over my good file.

They may be in the Recycle Bin. If you deleted the file from a
server,
you
have backups don't you? For better answers we need more information.
How
exactly did you delete the files using PowerPoint? Are you on a
network
where files are saved to server or local computer user where files
are
saved
locally? Are you running Norton that has the Norton Recycle bin?
