Is it possible to undo a sync and recover lost calendar and contactentries?

We ran a sync with a new ipod touch and didn't tell it to sync from
the mac to the ipod. So all of the contacts and calender items were
wiped out of Entourage 2004 for Mac (11.3.6). Can we get this info
back? Is there a way to undo the previous sync operation?

Just restore your Entourage identity from your latest backup.

Thanks for the quick reply.

I assume you're speaking of backups that we "should" have done? Does
Entourage do auto backups and if so, where are the backups kept? My
wife did no backups as far as I know. I believe we're out of luck.

Entourage does no automatic backups. I just posted a tutorial on creating
your own automatic backup using a folder action and Automator. You can use
this with both Tiger and Leopard. It will give you the same Time Machine
type of backup

This morning my entire email contents - inbox, sent messages, deleted
messages - all were wiped off my computer. Contacts and calender
items were left unaffected. is there any way I can find where all
those emails went too? I had set up a number of accounts too - these
all disappeared in the wipe out... I've found my old identities in the
office 2004 folder - but does anyone have any idea about how to
restore them? open them up? get them working?
