Hello from Steved

this is ok "ORPINGTON"

Can I change the bottom formula for this
"1st: 4 ORPINGTON"
quotation to quotation is one string.

=IF(ISNA(MATCH(A5,$T$3:$U$2000,0)),"",VLOOKUP
(A5,$T$3:$U$2000,2,0))

Thankyou

Hi Steved

having a hard time understanding what you're on about ... but i'll take a
stab at it
in the second column of the table you have ORPINGTON but rather than just
seeing that returned as a result of the VLOOKUP you want the statement "1st:
4 ORPINGTON" to show in the cell if so, then edit your formula to read
=IF(ISNA(MATCH(A5,$T$3:$U$2000,0)),"","1st: 4 " &
VLOOKUP(A5,$T$3:$U$2000,2,0))

Cheers

Hello from Steved

I have copied it from microsoft word and I thought
instead of text to columns, below what it looks like.
So I was hoping not to do a Text to Columns.
1st 4 ORPINGTON 31 ( 6)
54.0 T RUSSELL 50.8 3 G ORPEN-HEART
SET T + W PIKE CAMBRIDGE 31.2 575.6

Thankyou for your effots JulieD

It did not work never mind I thought ask and see if their
is a solution.

Chhers.
