Is MS shutting this group down?

I heard that MS is shutting down groups.

Microsoft is shutting down the Microsoft servers that host the Microsoft
newsgroups. Newsgroups can never die by the nature of the way newsgroups are
handled. Other servers will still be able to allow the newsgroup to
continue, but you will need to have access to those servers via your ISP.
They are pushing everyone to the online forums. Only time will tell how this
works out.

Oic. So I will then just use the provider of my ISP to access the groups.
