Is Powerpoint 97 compatible with Powerpoint 2002?

If I make a presentation on Powerpoint97, will it show up correctly on 2002?
I only have the 97 version available, but on the computer I will be using for
my presentation, it is version 2002.

And if they are not compatible, is there anything I can do to make it at
least work?

They are indeed compatible. Shouldn't be a problem going from older version
to newer version.
