Is there a limit to the size of a group distrubution list?

I am trying to create a group mailing list.. but at 40 it won't allow
me to add more addresses. Is there a limit??

Also.. I was working on this list when it got stuck at 40 and now
cannot find it at all. Without hitting save.. did I loose it??

Hi,

by "group mailing list", are you referring to groups in Entourage's address
book? If yes, there should be no limit to the number of contacts; however,
most ISPs prevent you from sending messages to more than 50 people at the
same time to prevent people from abusing their servers for spam. So generall
speaking, you should always use groups smaller than 50 (depending on your
ISP, this number may be even smaller), or use one group and run Paul
Berkowitz's free AppleScript "Split Recipient X", which you can find here:

The other problem you are experiencing might be caused by one or several
incorrect addresses (check for typos); this is known to cause problems with
Entourage's group functionality.
