Is There a Way to Retrieve Messages Thru Target Disk Mode?

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Processor: Intel Email Client: pop My desktop hard drive crashed, but I was able to access files on the hard drive through Target Disk Mode, connecting my laptop to the disabled desktop via FireWire.

If I have not archived my e-mail messages in Entourage, is there still any way to access them on my disabled desktop's hard drive?

While I am no expert at all, if you can get to your Main Identity database, you might be okay to save elsewhere and then when Entourage is reinstalled replace the Main Identity created with this saved version. Home>Documents>Microsoft User Data>Office 2008 Identities>Main Identity
