Is there a way to set Entourage 2008 to useiCal to handle new event invites?

I've switched to using iCal exclusively for my calendar until Microsoft fixes the "duplicates" bug (e.g. <http://www.officeformac.com/ProductForums/Entourage/1958/26?14@@)>. I still use Entourage for my email.

Does anyone know of a trick to get Entourage to use iCal by default to process iCalendar invitations?

On the flip side, does anyone know of a way to get iCal to use Entourage to send iCalendar invitations? iCal can get Entourage to handle the mailto request, but it doesn't hand Entourage the .ics file.
