Is there anyway to spoof your E-mail address for NG in Entourage?

Hi, Can anyone tell me how to do this? I am running Office2004.

In Outlook Express you were able to put any address you wanted. This helped
control the spam.

Create a fake spam e-mail account (Tools > Accounts > Mail). If you just
want to use it for certain outgoing mail, change the From dropdown menu on
those e-mails accordingly. If you want this spam address to be the one that
is the default From address on all news posts, set it as the default in your
News account (in Tools > Accounts > News set this fake account as the e-mail
account of every News account you set up).

I tried doing this, and Entourage told me it couldn't send because the
'from' email address was corrupted. Indeed, there it was, quoted with a
number of extra characters in front. I tried this using manual set up and
the assistant, and eventually gave up. Is this a known feature?

Hmmm. Well, I just created an account (that I called Fake Spam Account),
filled in my name and [email protected] in the Personal Information fields
and fill in my SMTP server info in the Sending mail field. As you can see
by this posting, it works like a charm.
