Is there something buggy going on?

I've been receiving tons of requests to update/cumulative patch
Outlook/Explorer/Express, but applies only to the Windows platform.

Also, I keep getting "undeliverable" mail messages for emails I didn't send.
They just have the email address in the body of the message and an
attachment in the window pane.

Of course I just delete them, but how do I stop them coming in?

To me it seems they are viruses that somehow got into the system of this
news group. As soon as I subscribed to it, I am getting about 10 to 20 per
day. I have set in the rules preferences an automatic delete for any
attachment that comes with an exe or bat file name, that to me are viruses
or potentially virus contamination. Anyways, all of them are for PC´s.

I hope someone can stop this to continue.

NO, NO, NO! The virus is NOT in this newsgroup, the problem is that YOU are
using your real email address as a return address for your posts.

So I am seeing all your posts by going to Google and entering your email
address:
safe=off&scoring=d&[email protected]>

Software robots are constantly scanning the internet for email addresses and
when they find one they sell it to a spammer or it gets passed around by
viruses.
I hope someone can stop this to continue
That someone is you. The address you used for this group is already public,
but you should make a new address and not let it go public. Make an account
specially for Usenet posting and "munge" it so it is recognizable to humans
but not software. I recommend something like
[email protected]

You can't.

Unfortunately, these are virus messages targetted at Windows users. The
'undeliverable' messages are due to your address being spoofed by the virus
when it is sending itself to someone else whose email address is no longer
valid.

Take a look at setting up mail rules to delete these automatically. An
introduction is here:
