Is this Possible - Powerpoint to DVD?

I'm a "regular" (not super-technical) PC user. I have a
powerpoint presentation that promotes a local school. We
know how to turn it into a "kiosk" type slideshow that
automatically advances from slide to slide, with various
transitions. But, we also want to:
a) add narration to the slides
b) and then, convert the slide show with narration into a
DVD.

That way, we can make the slide show available to people
to view on their home DVD players, and they don't have to
be PC users to see the show.

Is this possible to do? If so, how? I have no idea
where to turn for assistance...
