Issue Sending Word/ Excel attachments to some users

Hello,

I am running office xp, and exhange 5.5
When I send someone an word/excel attachment to an external recipient it
usually works fine. I have one person who cannot open the attachments, it
looks like this instead of the little icon

I have tried sending an attachment to my comcast and yahoo account and get
the same problem.

What is going on and how do I fix it? Thanks, Anthony
