Issues importing from an archive.

Moving from powerbook to powerbook, I archived my mail, notes and tasks and
on trying to import I keep on getting an error saying that I stopped the
import (BUT I DIDN'T!). Apart from the frustrating error message, is there
another way to get these items in to my new profile? Looks like the archive
is a package, can I 'show contents' and import that way?
