I just upgraded from the Home and Student Version of Office 2008 to the Standard Version. I have a significant amount of email, contacts and calendar items from the Student Version. However, when I open entourage it gives me an error stating that the identity cannot be used by this version.
I want to figure out what I can do as I need to have the folders, emails, and contacts come through.
I have tried the following:
1. Copy identity folder and install Office 2008 standard and then try to replace identity folder
2. Archive old identity folder through Student version (I consistently get an error that one of the messages won't allow the archival to continue) and then import once standard is installed.
Please help!
