Isync and Entourage

Has anyone been able to get iSync to access Entrourage Contacts and
Calendar? It seems a pity to need to use iCal and Apple Address book,
instead of Entourage. I want to sync my contacts and calendar with a
Motorola V620 phone. Hence the question.

Appreciate any assistance................... Robin

Hey Robin -

If you are using the most recent version of iSync, there should be no
problem. All you need to do is open the iSync program, and under
Preferences change what program you want to sync to -- iCal, or
Entourage Calendar....I recently converted all of my Apple Address book
and iCal things to Entourage by first syncing with my Blackberry to
make sure I had all the current data on the handheld, and then changing
the sync preferences in iSync so that the next time I synced the
Blackberry, all of the stuff that was in iCal and Address Book (and was
now resident on the handheld) moved from the handheld into Entourage.
Worked like a snap.

There is a program called GoBetween (iSync module) that is supposed to sync
your Entourage with Apple Address Book.

I've had horrible data problems lately -- phone and email getting
transposed, out of date (5 years) addresses being resurrected.
Unfortunately I've made four simultaneous changes to my environment, so I
have no idea what the cause was. Use a back up the first time you try!

To keep addresses in the system Address Book and the Entourage Address Book
synchronized, use Paul Berkowitz's "Sync Entourage-Address Book" script.
That way Entourage data will be available in iSync via Address Book.

Hey John In the prefernces where exactly you determine the program you want
to sync ? I couldn't find the damn thing
