Items in "Deleted Items" folder disappear.

Does anyone know why this happens? I do not have any rules set to delete
them, but every so often a bunch of older items just disappear.

This is handled by a schedule, not a rule.

You probably have a schedule set to remove items older than xx days from the
deleted items folder.
