For those who care to commiserate, I've got the right-justify bug. Exactly
as described by Craig Deutsch in an earlier post.

I installed Office 2004 yesterday, and immediately applied all the updates.

Such a relief to read the archives and find that it's not a problem with my
machine. Saved me a lot of time reinstalling, etc.

Count me in as someone who has the right-justify bug. Is there a
knowledge-base article from MSFT on this?

Have the same problem,

My subject line and fields all right-justify. The font is not the right size
either. Really strange, just started happening.

Hey there, I had the same thing happen with me. I talked to Microsoft, and
they reported that it¹s a known bug and they don¹t know how long before
they¹ll be able to get it fixed. It¹s tied to the ³display complex HTML²
preference under the ³security² section. Deactivate it and restart the
program and you¹ll be fine. You¹ll just have a hard time anything that comes
in as complex HTML.

Hi,
Did anyone find a solution for this right-justify bug?
I pretty much went through the same process as Jim until I realized it
is a software bug. Any information will be appreciated.

Thanks
Gabriel
Check http://www.weatherradio.info/Entourage/ and scroll down to see if
that's the same bug you're describing. If so, contact Microsoft at
http://www.microsoft.com/mac/contactus.aspx
and express your support for having the bugs at
http://www.weatherradio.info/Entourage/ fixed.

Just upgraded from v.X in the hope a bug with Palm Sync would be fixed (it
wasn't) and encountered this bug. I disabled "Display complex HTML in
messages" and the bug went away, but then so did complex HTML (all
promotional email, newsletters, etc...)

Contacted MS per URL below.

Mac OS 10.3.7
Entourage 2004 (with SP1)

POSSIBLE SOLUTION: After months of suffering with this bug, I finally
diagnosed the conflict that was causing this problem on my Mac, thanks
to an Archive and Install with a fresh system. The problem reappeared
when I loaded the Shutterfly Internet Plug-Ins. Once I removed them
from the Library>Internet Plug-Ins folder, the problem went away- 100%
repeatable. If you have these Plug Ins, I recommend you try removing
them, or any other suspect Plug Ins - it seems they affect the html
rendering engine used by Entourage. I hope this helps.
