Jpegs turn black

Hi - I will create a PP with Jpg photos. (Using office
2000 - no patches). ON my boss's computer - he will open
up the SAME powerpoint that worked for me - and 1 or more
of the photos is all black. Microsofts "fix" was to right
click, Cut, then Edit-> past special - which DOES fix. My
boss doesn't want it to happen at all. I removed an older
APG vid card and put in a new Nvidia G-force 256MB AGP
card - with no change. I've also un-installed/re-
installed the program - no change. Now he's mad at me
that I can't fix it. He's running a P4 3.2Ghz computer,
XP Pro. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes - It's the office 2000 suite.

The Jpgs come from CD's - my boss doesn't believe in
digital cameras - so we get prints + the CD you get when
you process the photos. Just standard Jpg's - NO one else
in the office has this problem either...

Try turning down hardware accleration. Not sure it will work, but it won't
hurt.
