JS error when uploading shared doc

Everything on our project server seems to work except
when I attempt to upload a document to the shared
documents section of a project. I get a javascript error
that says permission denied, then it lists a url that
points to the server that has team services installed on
and it references the owssvr.dll and it looks like it is
trying to pass it a bunch of parameters. The weird thing
is that it actually does upload the document and other
users can access it. This also happens when you delete a
shared document. I've checked the permissions on that DLL
and they look fine, I've also changed the perms to
Everyone for a test but it didn't have any effect.
Everything is using integrated authentication. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Nate

Are you listed on any projects as the PM? Have you
created yourself as an Admin for SharePoint webs? Either
of these two things lacking will give you that error. An
OWS Group is created oin the server each time a project
is published when the subweb is created. If you are the
PM then you have permissions to upload and delete files.
You can also do this by adding yourself as the admin on
SharePoint Team Services admin page.

I am listed as an admin on the Project server as well as
a PM. I am also setup as an admin in Sharepoint. I am
also a member of the local admin group on both servers
(Project and Sharepoint). That is why I can't understand
the error. If you just create a new document under shared
docs on the project server everything works fine. It is
only when you are uploading or deleteing an existing doc
that you get the error. What really makes no sense is
that even when you get the error it still uploads/deletes
the document.

Nate:

Unless you have an assignment in the project or are the publisher/owner of
the project, you theoretically can't access the library for that project.
There is one exception, that happens when you're a member of the local
administrator group on the STS server. First you get the error from Project
Server, that you should get, about being unauthorized, next the document
uploads anyway because you're a local admin.
