Jumping from OE to Ent. X?

I need to move a person's email from Outlook Express 98 to Entourage
for OS X. Is there any easy way to do this?

This person uses a pop account and has saved virtually every email
she's received over the last several years. She has a new mac and I
need to move the mail over.

I had planned to import it into Entourage 2001 on her current mac,
then import that into Entourage X on the new mac. but when I started
doing this the other day, it took FOREVER. I cancelled it after 90
mintes and it was only 2/3 of the way done!

Is there any easier/quicker way to do this?

Go directly into Entourage X. If she has a lot of mail (and it sounds like
she does,) it's going to take some time to do. Leave it running over lunch
or a meeting.
