Jumping icon on dock

Even though I have all alerts turned off, the Entourage icon on my
dock just keeps jumping. I'm ready to kill it! Even if I have the
program closed, there it is. Any tips on how to stop it??

You have specifically UNchecked "Animate icon" in Entourage's
Notification preferences. Correct?

Are you possibly noticing the icon of a third party application that
works Entourage? With Entourage quit the icon shouldn't move at all.

It can still jump if there was an error checking mail, I believe.

You can set this action in rules:

Do not notify

This will stop the dock icon from bouncing.
