Junk Mail Filter - gave up making it work - now can't turn it off

I give up trying to make their Junk Mail filter work.

I've removed all rules, I've un-checked the "Enable Junk Mail Filter" box,
and now it's marking most all incoming messages as junk, even those from
associates in my address book.

Can anyone help- me get back to no filter, no rules, just mail?

I will be so grateful.

Rick,

Now that you've disabled the junk mail filter, just go to Tools >
Rules and make sure that you get rid of your rules there... just
delete them if you want to get back to "square one" and not have your
mail "filtered" in any way.

Until you decided to upgrade to OFF2004, forget about using the junk
filter. It has been addressed with 2004.
