Junk Mail Filter

I have already posted this question but can't seem to view it...?
Anyway I am having troubles with Entourage 2004 for Mac's junk mail
filter. I have it set to the exclusive setting which should only accept
mail from my addressbook. When i first put the setting on it worked for
a while but now it tends to let in 10/20 junkmail messages a day from
quite obvious spam senders. Does anyone know how to fix this? could
there be a bug of some kind?

It is a problem reported by a small number of users.

First, check that your rules are not affecting the results of the JMF -
disable all rules for a while and see if the junk is still getting through.

Then, MS released a new version of the JMF for v2004 yesterday - run the
'Microsoft Autoupdate' application (in your applications folder) to update
the JMF.

I hope this solves the problem for you.

I downloaded the only thing that my updater found which was the service
pack for Office.. I have done that, restarted with the JMF turned off
and started up again and turned the JMF on to exclusive but i have just
had a junk mail message delivered to my inbox so the problem hasn't
been fixed.. Any other ideas?/or is there a specifc JMF update i should
be downloading, and if so where do i get it/find it?

Try viewing the source of the junk mail. You may find that it is
actually sent claiming to be from you, or someone you know, using a
"good" e-mail address but an invalid display name. If so:

One way to eliminate mail falsely claiming to be from yourself is to
add a special header to each of your accounts, in the Options tab. Call
the header "x-isme" or some such, with your name as the value. This
header will do nothing when you send messages or others receive them.
But, you can now set up a rule with criteria:

From is me
Specific Header "x-isme" does not exist

Action: Move to Junk folder and mark as junk

Just for the record, I've followed these suggestions (including the update)
and am still having this problem.
