I am not using Entourage 2004's Junk Mail Filter since I have server-based
rules filing spam for me. I've therefore removed the "Junk Mail" folder that
Entourage created in my IMAP accounts (Without asking me).
When I select a message in a folder and click the toolbar "Junk" button, the
message is given the "Junk" category and remains selected so that I can file
it. When I select a message in a custom view and click the toolbar "Junk"
button, the message is given the "Junk" category, but is then *deselected*.
Perhaps this is because I've removed the Junk Mail folders, but this
behavior is inconsistent with the behavior in regular folders.
