Justification for MS Project XP

Hi everyone,

Does anyone have a write-up of justifications for moving from Project 2000
to Project XP? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

If you are just using project as a stand-alone product on a single desktop
then there is no real reason to move to either Project 2002 or 2003. There
were very few substantial changes in the desktop application in this period.

If you are using Project Central then moving to Project Server will be a big
leap forward.

That said, Project 2007 is going to come out early next year. You might want
to wait for it as it improves over 2003 in a number of ways (again, more in
the enterprise feature set, but at least desktop users get multiple level
undo).
