Keeping Replys in their Originating Folder - Not the Sent folder

Is there anyway to set a rule so that when you reply to a message
contained within a specific folder - Entourgage keeps the reply in the
same folder rather than placing it in the Sent folder? For the life
of me, I can't figure this out. In a former life on a PC...it was a
simple setting in preferences. Its driving me nuts & I'm spending 1/2
my day sorting my sent folder! Any suggestions?
