key commands not working

When I try to "select all" or "delete" e-mails using key commands
nothing happens however I can perform these functions with the
pull-down menus. At first thought it was a faulty keyboard but the key
commands work fine in other programs. This problem appeared suddenly
after more than a year on an imac G5 - any ideas? Thanks! S.

This is a known problem that happens intermittently. There is no known
culprit, but uses have found some workarounds to try when this happens.

1. Quit Entourage and restart
2. Command-Tabbing
3. Selecting the Finder/desktop and then back to Entourage
