Keyboard command for a new message.

Hello,

Is there anyway that I can set up a keyboard command with Entourage 2004 to
get a new mail message? I¹m running a PowerBook G4 with Mac OS 10.3.5. I
don¹t understand why I have to go to the New menu to create a new email. In
Eudora Pro all I had to do was use Command-n. Thank you in advance for any
information you might have.

Sincerely,
Cody Bryan III

Command-N works for me in Entourage. You have to be in a Mail view. In
Tasks it creates a new Task, in Accounts it creates a new Account, etc.

Entourage is more than an email app like Eudora. Command-N is a new window
for whatever area you area in - if you're in the Mail area, you will indeed
get a new mail message window, unless you're in a Newsgroup where you'll get
a new news message to that newsgroup. If you're in the Address Book area,
you'll get a new contact window, etc.

However, no matter where you are, you can get a new mail message by
option-command-N.

You can always find this - or any keyboard shortcut - for yourself by
looking in the (menu bar) menus - not contextual menu. If You look under
File/New/Mail Message, you'll see.
