Keyboard shortcuts stop working...

Knock on wood, but I think I may have found the culprit. It's been
working for over 24 hours - which is longer than the 1 or 2 hour
recurrence I was experiencing - but again, I'm keeping my fingers
crossed that the problem is solved.

I you're experiencing keyboard shortcuts that just stop working after a
few hours (and being forced to quit and restart Entourage to get them
back), try this...

I noticed that if I turned off "animate icon" for new mail alerts, the
problem went away (under Prefereces->Notification->Animate icon).

Hope others find that this gets rid of this irritating problem.

Well I dont; have this option turned on, yet I've seen this problem many
times :-\

I'm not sure that would do it unfortunately :-(

I am wondering if it has something to do with switching identities. Do
you folks having this problem switch identities often? I find that if I
switch to another identity, i can pretty much count on shortcuts not
working anymore.

Add me to the list of those who do not have "animate icon" checked, and
lose keyboard shortcuts (Command-N, for example) after running
Entourage 2004 (all updates) for a couple hours. Restarting E'rage is
the only thing that fixes it. I don't have multiple Identities, so no
switching involved. I'm also running the latest Apple updates.
