Keystroke that Emails Work in Progress?

V

Vik Rubenfeld

This has happened to me a number of times: I've been writing an email, I
go to hit command-V to do a paste, and instead, the email is sent out
immediately, before it is finished. There seems to be a keystroke in the
vicinity of command-V that immediately sends the draft of the email you
are currently editing, without any confirmation dialogue.

Is there a way to disable this?

Cmd-Enter sends immediately. You might be able to disable it using Panther's
Keyboard shortcuts sys prefs to change it to something more obscure. Of
course Enter is nowhere near V, so I'm not sure how this is happening for
you.

Well, that's right. I'm not hitting command-enter. It look like it's
time for a reinstall of Office.

Also command-Return does the same thing. But that isn't too much closer.
