Known attachment squashed

My resume was composed in WordPerfect on my mothers
computer. I had her email it to me as an attachement.
When I open it there's a line stating "OE removed access
to the following unsafe attachments to your mail." I know
who this attachment is from and what the file is.Can
anyone tell me how I can get this file opened in my copy
of wordperfect.When I try to use M.S. knowledge base or
Outlook express support I wind up going round and round
and round without even a hint of an answer. Can anybody
help me please?

Open Outlook Express and select Tools | Options | Security tab. Uncheck the
second box from the top concerning attachments.
