LABELS - Printing Within the Boundaries

This is beyond me! I am using commercial labels (pre-glued). I find that
with the given Top Margin, they are printed too far up the page and so
overlap the top edge of the labels. To remedy this, I have tried adding an
extra few mm on the Top Margin. Even though the Print Preview shows it
lowered it does not print lower!! (Publisher is lying to me.)
Assistance will be gratefully appreciated.

I like the way you think that Publisher is "lying" to you.

It may be that your printer is not feeding the paper perfectly accurately,
and so is shifting the print up the paper.
Are you using a high quality option on your printer?
Have you updated your printer drivers?

Thank you Ed. Following your advice I have (a) aligned the printer and (b)
deleted and reloaded Publisher.

The few mm can be added to the Top Margin. I find one can set it to any
value, by deleting the existing and typing in the new value. One does not
need to use the + or - buttons, which give gross changes.

The actual solution to the problem is much, much simpler. I had been
printing seven rows of labels on label paper intended for six rows!! How
silly can you get? [Old age you know]
