Large email hung up in re-sending itself, butwon't get bounced back

I've got a large email that will just stay in "waiting to be sent" mode. I can't seem to totally delete it from the cue and it won't just give up and get bounced back to me.

Open Entourage with the Shift key held down. This will disable schedule. Now
open Entourage and turn off the preview pane. Select the message and delete
it.
