large file stuck in outbox of Outlook 2003

I mistakenly tried to send a 9 MB attachment using Outlook 2003. It is now stuck in my outbox. If I try to delete it, OUtlook won't let me and says the message is currently sending. I tried going offline and deleting it, but that didn't work.

I just ran into this same problem and cannot figure out how to get rid of it...I thought I found the file in my settings in the outbox, but it won't let me delete the contents, ARGH! Now, my email doesn't work because of that huge file sitting there.
