What exactly do you mean by "last week"? A few more words of explanation
would help us help you.

sorry...start & finish columns have auto filters have 'today', 'tomorrow',
'next week', etc. but nothing for 'last week' so I can quickly filter on what
should have started last week in status meetings.

OK, if I assume that you want tasks that should have started but didn't,
then a custom autofilter could be created, but, are you aware that there
are built-in custom filters under Project/Filtered for/More filters that
do exactly what you want. Why re-invent the wheel?

Nonetheless to answer your question, you could try the autofilter on the
Actual Start field. That does have options for previous time periods.
