LDAP & Address Book

Hi,

I have Entourage clients that aren't part of our Exchange system however I would like them to connect with LDAP to perform searches in our address book. Currently they have mailboxes in a Novell GroupWise email system. Does anyone know what's required to do this and what changes, if any, need to be made to AD, Exchange or the Entourage client? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I haven¹t tried this, but it should be quite possible to make a new entry
under the ŒDirectory Service¹ pane of the ŒAccounts¹ window (available from
the Tools menu).

I tried that but it just returns LDAP error 17747. As per an article I didn't configure a search base in the Directory Service configuration on the Entourage client but I still get LDAP error 17747.
