I have a league table set up to calculate the results, I have the teams and
the scores on the left side of the spreadsheet and the league table beside
it. I want to be able to use an if function, I think, to be able to
calculate the league table from the scores on the left, i.e.
Results League table
name 2 1 name Name – played - won –lost – draw – for – agst – total - Pts
name 3 1 name
If the team name in the league table is the same as the result how do I
create a formula that will add the points and scores etc to the corresponding
name on the league table. I have tried a number of formulas but cant get it
to work, hope this makes sense to someone and thanks in anticipation
