Learing VB

Hi all,

Hoping you can provide some advice, I am wanting to
purchase some books about VB and was wondering if you
could recommend some good titles. At present I am
attempting to teach myself while playing with Access and
Excel with the great help from this newsgroup and the help
files things have been going fine, however I think it is
time for some more assisstance.

MVP John Viescas has written a very good book titled "Microsoft Office
Access 2003 Inside Out". I think it would be a good place to start.

The Access Developers Handbooks (Litwin, Getz, Gilbert and/or Gunderloy) for
Access 97, 2000 and 2002 are also wonderful. They are a bit on the advanced
side so if you are a beginner with programming in general you might want to
wait a bit.
