Is your virus scanner integrated into Office? If yes, disable that.
What type of add-in is the one fromLearningEssentials 2.0 (COM Add-in,
template)? Word should tell you this in the Add-Ins dialog.

Has anyone else noticed that whenLearningEssentials 2.0 is installed
with Office 2007 the time it takes for any office program to start up
is about 30 to 60 seconds. All you see is the blue screen and where
the ribbon/tabs are is blank, as if its trying to draw them or
something.
Any suggestions on how to improve?
Thanks,
Richard
Its only with Microsoft Word. Excel and Powerpoint pop right up with
absolutely no problems. Also to note, closing Word also takes about
30 to 60 seconds. Of course, if I go into the Tools | Add Ons and
remove the three references toLearningEssentials it works great.
